Lymphangiectasia in Dogs: How a Low Fat, Gently-Cooked Diet May Help

By Kelly Gredner, RVT, VTS (Nutrition) ·

Nutrition for dogs with lymphangiectasia centres on fat: veterinary guidance targets under 15% fat on a dry matter basis, at least 25% high-quality protein, crude fibre of 5% or less, and high digestibility. Diet trials run a minimum of two weeks, with improvement expected within 10-14 days. Always work with your veterinarian.
