A partnership with purpose

Supporting rescue has always been part of who we are. When we had our Toronto storefront, we hosted events and drives for animals in need — but always knew we wanted to do more.

In May 2025, that commitment found its perfect partner in Mattie's Place.

Mattie's Place has built their reputation by saying yes to the animals others pass by — dogs with complex medical needs, behavioural challenges, difficult histories, and surrenders. They advocate fiercely for every animal in their care, choosing what's right for them over what's easier or more convenient. Sound familiar?

We chose Mattie's Place because the animals they help often need more than shelter. They need real, nourishing food to recover, rebuild, and thrive. That's where we come in.

Our Dog of the Month Program

  1. 1

    How it Works

Each month, we sponsor one rescue dog from Mattie's Place, providing meals for that dog as long as they're in their care.

  2. 2

We pick a dog in need

Mattie's Place identifies a dog who would benefit most from nutritional support during their foster term.

  3. 3

    We build their plan

With our Nutrition team, we review each dog's needs and build a meal plan to match.

  4. 4

    We send them their meals

Meals are provided for the entirety of their foster term — giving them the nutrition they need to recover, rebuild, and thrive.

  5. 5

Their forever home keeps the love going

Once adopted, we offer their new family a lifetime discount so their newest member can continue to thrive for life.
